EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK

Course duration: 6 hours (in total, but a bespoke solution can be delivered)
Course assessment: No formal assessment
Course numbers: Minimum 6 staff maximum 12 staff
Course content: Training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.

FIRST AID AT WORK (FAW)

Course duration: 18 hours (in total, but a bespoke solution can be delivered)
Please note: the successful completion of a practical assessment is required to gain this award.

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID

Course duration: 6 and 12 hour courses (in total, but a bespoke solution can be delivered)
Course numbers: Minimum 6 staff maximum 12 staff
Course assessment: (No formal assessment required)
Course details: This course is set up to meet the statutory requirements of the DFES Early Years Foundation Stage 2007 - Paediatric First Aid. The course is both interactive and practical, with the emphasis on understanding the principles of first aid for the ill or injured younger child - from birth to five years.

The balance between practical and theory work encourages enthusiastic participation in these groups.
