Course Trainers are PTLLS and minimum Level 3 NEBOSH qualified practitioners. All courses support candidates to comply with statutory Health and Safety regulations and legislation. All courses are certificated.

IMPLEMENTING GOOD MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING AT WORK

Course duration: 2 Day

• Qualsafe accredited, legislative, practical and emotional support skills training
• Training to enable your staff to assist each other at work

HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARENESS IN THE WORKPLACE

Course duration: Half Day

• The importance of workplace health and safety
• How to recognise workplace hazards and risks
• Understand procedures for maintaining health and safety in the workplace
• This course can be used as part of Employee Induction

MANUAL HANDLING

Course duration: Half Day

• Full understanding of Manual Handling regulations and guidelines
• Recognise the hazards and risks when moving & handling equipment
• Each candidate will gain insight & awareness of their own body mechanics
• Successful completion of the course is attained by practical assessment, the application of newly learned skills and peer observation

FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS

Course duration: 2 hours

• Essential for all staff to ensure that they comply with statutory legal requirements
• Ensures that all candidates have full awareness of the dangers of fire, how to prevent fires occurring and actions to take should a fire break out
• Our team of highly experienced fire fighters deliver this course making it realistic and memorable for all candidates

FIRE MARSHAL/WARDEN

Course duration: Half day with extinguisher discharge

• The course is customised to ensure that the content is relevant for the candidates and their own work environment
• Emphasis on Fire Prevention and Evacuation procedures
• Our team of highly experienced fire fighters, through practical sessions, support candidates to safely discharge fire extinguishers

RISK ASSESSMENT

Course duration: Half day

• Assists the candidate to identify what can harm people in their workplace
• To identify who might be harmed and how
• To evaluate the risks and decide on the appropriate controls they should utilise
• How to record their risk assessment
• Techniques to assist in the review process and how to update their risk assessment

CONTROL OF SUBSTANCES HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH (C.O.S.H.H.)

Course duration: Half Day

• The candidates will look at practical ways to address C.O.S.H.H related issues
• They will conduct suitable assessments to identify the levels of risk individuals are exposed to within their working environment

CONFINED SPACE ENTRY AND RESCUE

Course duration: 2 Day

• Awareness of Confined Space legislation
• Ability to recognise and identify a confined space
• Understanding of the hazards associated with confined spaces
• Ability to identify and use specialist equipment required for confined space entry
• Awareness of Health and Hygiene aspects of the confined space environment
• An understanding of the personalities and their duties regarding confined spaces procedures
• Practical exercises using confined space equipment
• Confined space entry exercise using escape sets
• All our trainers are skilled and experienced in utilising the techniques and skills required to assist people who may be injured or contained in a confined space
• The course instructs candidates how to safely manage a victim retained in a confined space
